Good speakers are the keys to get the best possible sound experience from your sound system. You can mount the best CD or DVD drive on the market and the highest AV receiver, but if you do not have the right speakers, audio settings or home theater is not much in terms of the actual sound. Your speakers form the interface between electronics in your audio system and the physical world when a sound plays – choose the right set can make the difference between the sound tight, the mud and the clear sound of the concert hall.

What connections do I need on a soundbar?

Having a large selection of connectivity is always a bonus because you never know what you want to connect in the future. At least most of the sound bars have at least RCA jacks and an optical digital connection. This will be your preferred choice. In addition, premium sound bars are often called HDMI ARC.

The sound bars can be autonomous or equipped with a separate subwoofer to get a presence at lower frequencies. Perfect for those who want to feel the broken soul. Some sound bars supplied with multiple speakers are looking to test and emulate a surround sound experience 5.1 or 7.1. The simple physical means that it is often a real pale imitation of the ring. In addition, there are sound bases. Instead of being just a rod-shaped loudspeaker mounted in front of your TV or on a wall, sound bases act as a platform that your TV is sitting on. This often means that more drivers can be installed inside.

A soundbar is a thin speaker that includes several speakers housed in a long, rectangular housing designed to sit in front of or under the TV. If you mount your TV on the wall, you will notice that many sound bars come with a mounting kit, so you can stay directly under the TV. There are a variety of simple formats available in sound boards that provide an improved sound TV, more powerful models that offer an incredibly large and rich. Decide which level of connectivity you want to see your soundbar before buying and review the range of plans available for each model. All models should allow you to run a single optical or analogue audio cable from the TV and your soundbar. When you play Blu-ray discs, you need a soundbar that is compatible with HDMI, Blu-ray has as high-resolution soundtracks, which can only be sent over an HDMI cable. And when you play music from a smartphone or tablet over your sound bar, look for one that has a USB and / or Bluetooth. More audio quality, look for Dolby Digital and virtual surround. Some models even have an integrated subwoofer for deep bass.

HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU HAVE?

If you need more space or reluctantly need an excellent system, a soundbar is the best option. They usually have two units, one speaker and one subwoofer. The loudspeaker is in front of your TV or it can be mounted on the wall. A subwoofer can be placed anywhere as it does not need you to. Some models – known as bases sounds – are provided for your television to them.

You will need more space if you want a complete home theater system. These include five or more speakers and a subwoofer. The size of the speakers will vary, but so you can find a design for your home.

WHAT ABOUT CABLES?

The speaker cables can be harmful, especially for home theater systems. Some systems have all or some wireless speakers, but they cost more. If you choose a standard system, you should consider how to hide or lay the cables so they do not stay on the way.

The cables are less disturbing to its bars, unless there is room for the subwoofer being sited by the soundbar. By hand, wireless models are available.

Connections and control

When a soundbar is selected, make sure to select your TV and other components with the appropriate connections. Almost all sound bars have an optical digital connection, and many offer HDMI connections for more flexibility. If you have a bar its multi-channel HDMI connection ensures the best sound quality Blu-ray soundtracks. If you have an older TV set, there are also Soundbar models with analog inputs. For the last 4K Ultra HD TV, there are sound boards with 4K video compatible. Visit our installation guide and close the Soundbar to determine which type of connection is best for you.

Once the bar is configured, you can use the existing remote control to control volume. Most television and cable or satellite remote controls can be programmed to control a soundbar or soundbar can learn the commands of your TV.
